DESIGN:

Troy Lee Designs' new SE5 Carbon motorcycle helmet continues to elevate the industry's standards in helmet technology. Tested and developed by the best world motocross team athletes, the new MX SE5 Carbon helmets are characterized by a lightweight and durable carbon fiber shell, for a new ventilation system that ensures maximum comfort to the rider thanks to the side slats on the chin guard, and for the Collarbone mitigation System, the innovative system of protection of the clavicle in EPP (polypropylene foam) integrated in the lower part of the helmet that protects the collarbone and upper shoulder and propagates the force of the impact.

MIPS INTEGRA

MIPS (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System) is a patented technology to protect the skull from impacts in the event of a fall and thus reduce the risks related to possible concussion. It is a sliding table system designed to rotate inside the helmet with the intent to reduce and slow the amount of rotational energy transferred to the head. INTEGRA is the latest evolution of MIPS: it is the world's lighest and thinnest rotational management system (RMS). Perfectly integrated into the innser shell, this system ensures maximum comfort and minimum friction nce worn. The characteristic low-friction yellow layer (LFL) is in fact co-modele inside the helmet over the dual-density EPS foam, which protects against low speed impacts. 

OPTIMIZED FIT AND BREATHABILITY:

The SE5 motocross helmet integrates preformed cheek pad in Dri-Lex, a fabric designed to ensure maximum breathability, and an internaal lining in antimicrobial fibers in X-Static. 

The cheek pads are wuick release to facilitate the intervention of Firs Aid personnel in case of accident or fall. 

The double-D system also ensures an adjoustable and safe helmet closure, thanks to the two resistant titanium rings.
